Exa Networks nominated for 4 ISPA Awards!

Exa at the 2017 ISPA Awards

Yesterday, ISPA UK, the Internet Service Providers’ Association, announced the shortlists for this year’s ISPA Awards, the single most prestigious awards ceremony for ISPs across the UK. We’re very proud to continue our more than a decade-long streak of nominations for the awards, with Exa Networks picking up a fantastic 4 nominations for this year’s awards - as many as any other nominee!

This year, we’re nominated in four different categories, which we’ll be breaking down below. With the awards set to take place on the 13th of July at London’s gorgeous Café de Paris, we’re excited for the ceremony - expect to hear more as we get ready for the day itself!

Our ISPA Nominations for 2017

Best Superfast Broadband: With DarkLight, we’ve developed a completely revolutionary approach to ultrafast broadband connectivity, and we’re extremely happy to see the service be recognised by ISPA for the awards. DarkLight uses a unique design to deliver an unmatched level of flexibility for our customers, while providing incredibly fast and reliable performance at a market-beating price point.

Best Host: We’re not just good at hosting parties. We’ve been nominated for the ISPA award for our web hosting, where we work to give our customers total flexibility and reliability. Unlike many hosting companies, we don’t focus on cramming sites onto one server to advertise unbelievably low prices - we look to ensure that our customers, whether on dedicated or shared servers, get absolutely fantastic performance for their hosting at all times.

Best Cloud Service: Last year, we released the latest version of our Cloud-based content filtering system, SurfProtect. We deliver SurfProtect completely free-of-cost to our customers, giving them complete control over what can be accessed using their Internet connection. With SurfProtect including some fantastic and unique features, we’re very happy to be nominated for this award.

Security Award: We take security seriously on all levels, from in-office standards to the protection of our customers. This year’s seen some relatively important events when it comes to security - as mentioned before, we’ve recently updated SurfProtect, while working in-office to renew our ISO 27001 certification, and running a number of cybersecurity-focused events for students and families through our exa.foundation.
