Exploring #exabytes17 through July
By far the biggest event organised through our not-for-profit exa.foundation, the #exabytes conference is a one-day annual show that we run to give teachers a genuinely useful, fun and luxurious look at ways in which technology can be used in and around the classroom.
This year, we ran our #exabytes17 conference on the 7th of July, with roughly 100 teachers heading to the event from across the UK (and even further afield in a couple of cases) for an all-day spectacular. As with last year, we headed on down to Bradford’s fantastic Midland Hotel for the conference, with its convenient location right by Bradford Forster Square station (and a few minutes from our office) and gorgeous looks making it a fantastic choice.
Running 36 selectable sessions along with keynote and endnote speeches, #exabytes17 covered everything from teaching cybersecurity in class to game design, Raspberry Pi possibilities and more. With our schedule being based on voting from attendees, everyone heading down to #exabytes is able to explore sessions that interest them - a major plus for attendees.
With #exabytes being a major success, we’ll be returning again for #exabytes18 on the 29th of June - stay tuned for more information!
