Subsidise the cost of new technology with Digital Growth Vouchers
Bringing in new technology can make a world of difference to SMEs, no matter what field they work in. Whether it’s speeding up the office with faster Internet connectivity, bringing in new hardware or investing in software, tech can help businesses expand their services and deliver their customers an even greater level of performance.
However, we’ve seen many companies put off investing in tech, often due to high potential costs. We believe that every business should be able to use the technology that can benefit them most, so we’re very happy to be introducing the Digital Growth Voucher scheme.
Designed by Digital Enterprise as part of the EU Regional Development Fund, the scheme is built to significantly cut down on the cost of new technology, providing SMEs with up to £5000 towards the cost of adopting any tech that can help them expand or improve their performance.
Below, we’ve put together some information about eligibility and applying for the Digital Growth Voucher scheme - if you’d like to talk to an expert about how the vouchers can help your company specifically, don’t hesitate to get in touch with our team today at 0345 145 1234!
How Digital Growth Vouchers work
Digital Growth Vouchers subsidise a full 40% of the cost of acquiring new technology, all the way up to £5000, based on the estimated benefit that bringing in the tech could have on your business. For example, if buying new computers to improve work speed and reliability would cost you £2500, you’d be able to receive a £1000 repayment via the voucher scheme, cutting the cost to you down to just £1500.
The vouchers are valid for any kind of technology, whether that’s physical hardware, licenses for software or the installation of various services - including our world class DarkLight Internet connectivity.
There’s an incredible amount of untapped economic potential due to SMEs not being able to invest in meaningful technology, and the Digital Growth Voucher scheme is designed to help improve this, helping businesses across the Leeds City Region (including Bradford, York, Harrogate and more) get the absolute best performance possible.
At Exa Networks, we’re excited about the potential that the vouchers have for helping out local businesses - we’ll be helping to spread the word about the scheme over the coming months!
