Meeting the Experts at Bett 2018

Free, expert advice at Bett Show 2018

The Bett Show is one of the biggest events focused on education technology, with tens of thousands heading down to the show to discover new technology, new approaches and new opportunities. With a huge number of teachers and professionals at Bett, there’s a lot of opportunity to get real, expert advice on a wide range of topics.

There’s a lot of questions being asked right now across education, from the effects of GDPR in schools and academies to the classroom possibilities provided by Raspberry Pi, the potential for using social media in education - and far more. We want to help you get a real answer to any questions that you have.

Whether you’re an Exa customer, looking for a new approach for your Internet services, or just want to know more about any Internet/ edtech topic, head on over to the Exa Networks stand at C322 for free, open advice from a real team of experts!

Meet our Expert Team

Throughout the 2018 Bett Show, you’ll be able to meet a huge range of experts at our stand. With our whole team having years of experience and expertise, we’ll be able to answer the questions that matter most to you, but with some of our team specialising in different areas, we’d like you to meet the team:

Directors

Two of Exa’s directors, Mark Cowgill and Michael Syree, will be heading down to Bett this year, so visitors can discuss Exa’s products, the services and upgrades we’ve got planned for the near-future, and, crucially, the regulations and conditions set to affect schools.

exa.foundation

Our exa.foundation is a not-for-profit branch of Exa, running over 100 events per year to support the effective use of technology in and around the classroom. With our events and Bett Award-nominated MOOC, exa.foundation is making a real difference. At Bett, Alan O’Donohoe, our specialist leader in education, will be able to give expert advice on lesson plans, Raspberry Pi, BBC micro:bits and far more.

Schools

At Bett, you’ll be able to meet our expert education team at the stand, and discuss ways to cut costs, improve the services your school is receiving, and get the absolute best out of the technology available to your school. Along with our education manager Matt Connor, you’ll be able to get your questions answered by several of our education account managers - Phil Black, Damon Waite and John Standhaven.

Academies

Bett isn’t exclusively about schools. As such, our Academies specialist, Simon Eagles, will be advising academies on any questions they have, from the potential effects of GDPR to tech solutions and far more. As one of the UK’s first Digital Champions, Simon’s able to advise businesses as well as education establishments on the ways in which they can get the best results out of technology - so don’t hesitate to ask any questions!

Marketing

Several members of Exa’s Marketing team will be at our stand throughout Bett, including marketing manager Edd Grinham and marketing executive Rebecca Hamer. Whether you’re looking for information about our services, or want to find out how to get the best results from your marketing, from email campaigns to telemarketing and social media, our marketing team will be more than happy to offer you expert advice.

We’ll be at Bett through the whole show at the fantastically placed stand C322 (right next to the Microsoft exhibition) - we’ll be looking forwards to seeing you! We’ll also be live-tweeting the Bett Show on Thursday and Friday, so stay in touch (or ask any questions!) at @ExaNetworks
